This policy explains what personal data LaunchPal collects, why, and what you can do about it. LaunchPal is run by MN Ventures, MB, company code 306686908, V. Nagevičiaus g. 3, LT-08237 Vilnius, Lithuania (“we”). We are the controller of the data described here, unless section 2 says otherwise. Questions: hello@launchpal.app.
1. What we collect
- When you run a free launch check: the address you enter and the results. The check reads only what anyone can see on that site.
- When you ask for your report or join LaunchPal: your email address.
- When you have an account: your email, your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google, the apps you add, your plan and your launch progress.
- When you connect a service such as Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Paddle, Polar or Google Search Console: read-only access. We store totals, such as new customers, revenue and search impressions, not your customers’ personal details.
- When you pay: Stripe handles the payment. We receive your name, email, country and what you bought, never your card details.
- When you visit launchpal.app: our own analytics records the pages you view, the site you came from, campaign tags, your country and device type. It uses no cookies and doesn’t store your IP address. Visitors are counted with a code that changes every day.
- When you email us: your message and email address.
2. Visitors to our customers’ apps
When a customer adds our script to their app, it collects the same kind of cookieless data about that app’s visitors. For that data, the app’s owner is the controller and we process it on their behalf, under our data processing agreement. If you visited such an app, please contact its owner about your data.
3. Why we use it
- To run the check, send your report and provide your account and plan, because you asked us to (performing our contract with you).
- To tell you when it’s your turn and send product news, with your consent. You can unsubscribe with the link in every email.
- To show your app on LaunchPal Launches, only if you choose to launch in public (your consent).
- To keep LaunchPal secure, prevent abuse, fix problems and see how the site is used, based on our legitimate interest in running a safe, working service.
- To keep accounting and tax records, because the law requires it.
The launch score and findings are automated advice. We don’t make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you by automated means.
4. Who we share it with
We don’t sell personal data. We use these providers to run LaunchPal, and they process data only on our instructions:
- Amazon Web Services: hosting, database, email and the AI model that reads the page you check, all in the EU (Frankfurt).
- Cloudflare: domain, protection against attacks, a bot check in your browser when you use our forms (Turnstile), and a safety lookup of the address you check.
- Stripe: payments.
- Google: the speed test of the address you check (PageSpeed Insights), and sign-in, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
If you launch in public, what you choose to show is visible to everyone. We may also share data when the law requires it.
5. Data outside the EU
We keep our data in the EU. Some providers, such as Cloudflare, Stripe and Google, may process data outside the EU. When they do, they’re bound by the EU’s standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
6. How long we keep it
- Free check results without an email: 90 days.
- Your email for your report and updates: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Account data: while your account is open, and deleted within 30 days after you close it.
- Payment records: 10 years, as Lithuanian accounting law requires.
- Our site analytics: 24 months.
- Emails you send us: up to 2 years.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to show you your data, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it or send it to you in a portable format. You can object to uses based on our legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to hello@launchpal.app and we’ll reply within one month.
You can also complain to Lithuania’s State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt) or the data protection authority in your country.
8. Cookies
launchpal.app uses no cookies for analytics or advertising. Once accounts open, we’ll use one necessary cookie to keep you signed in.
9. Children
LaunchPal is for people aged 16 and over. If you’re under 16, please don’t use it or give us your data.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above. If the change matters, we’ll also email you.
