When to use it
Right after you publish, and again whenever you add a public page. AI builders usually start every page with the same generic title, often the project name or something like “Vite + React”, and a placeholder description. Google then shows the same snippet for every page, or picks its own.
Replace yourapp.com with your real domain before you paste it. The last sentence matters: asking to see the titles first stops the builder from overwriting a title you already wrote by hand.
What to check afterwards
- Open each page, right-click and choose View page source, and search for
<title>. Every page should have a different one. - Paste a page’s address into a message to yourself on Slack, WhatsApp or X and check that the preview shows your image and description.
- Open
yourapp.com/sitemap.xmlin the browser. Every address should start with your real domain, with no preview or builder addresses.
If it doesn’t work
If the source code doesn’t contain your titles but the browser tab does, the tags are being added by JavaScript after the page loads. Search engines and social sites may never see them. On Base44, set titles and descriptions in the SEO & GEO dashboard instead of through prompts. For other builders, see the render pages for search engines prompt.
